1976 Ibaraki Information Service Co., Ltd. was established.
1979 Hitachi Control Systems, Inc. was established.
1981 Hitachi Process Computer Engineering, Inc. was established.
Hitachi Video Engineering, Inc. was established.
1982 Hitachi Micro Software Systems, Inc. was established.
1989 Hitachi Control Systems, Inc., renamed Hitachi Information Control Systems Co.,Ltd.
1991 Hitachi Video Engineering, Inc. was changed to Hitachi Image Information Systems, Inc.
2001 Hitachi Information & Control Systems, Inc. and Hitachi Process Computer Engineering, Inc. have merged.
2003 Hitachi Information & Control Systems, Inc. was changed to Hitachi HICOS, Inc.
Hitachi Image Information Systems, Inc. and Hitachi Micro Software Systems, Inc. have merged as Hitachi Advanced Digital, Inc.
