Abstract

KNIME Analytics Platform is the open source software for creating data science tools. Intuitive, open, and continuously integrating new developments, KNIME makes understanding data and designing data science workflows and reusable components accessible to everyone.

KNIME let users connect nodes, where data related functions are implemented, to realize a variety of data analytics.

We also adopt KNIME Analytics Platform as a standard tool in our data analysis seminar.

Abstract

What KNIME is capable of ...

Manipulation Read, concatenate, divide, row and column operations, export to databases or files, and so on.
Calculation Any kind of statistics, such as max, min, average, standard deviation, pivot table, can be computed.
Visualization Scatter, line, bar, pie, and many more chart styles are available.
Modeling Decision tree, regression, clustering and many other modeling methods are pre-implemented. Also, many other open source tool such as Python can be incorporated in KNIME workflow.

KNIME comes with more than 2500 nodes, which allow us to realize any of desired analysis by combining them in workflows.
