ADSTEFAN Support Service Site
Security Incident due to Unauthorized Access

We detected unauthorized access the ADSTEFAN Support Service Site (ADSTEFAN Service Site https://www.adstefan.com/) provided by Hitachi Industry & Control Solutions, Ltd. Due to this incident, we immediately shutdown the ADSTEFAN Service Site and began an intensive research to find out the occurrence.
As a result of our investigation, we determined that portion of our customers' information registered in the ADSTEFAN Service Site had flowed out by the unauthorized access.

We are taking this incident very seriously and are committed in minimizing affects to our customers with top priority. We are aiming to recover the ADSTEFAN Service Site as soon as possible, also consult with the police, and to enforce information security countermeasures against unauthorized access.

Details of customers' information leaked by this incident:

• Registered name, e-mail address, phone number, login password, company name and job titles (383 companies, 1,669 people)

In addition, 16 files which customer uploaded during the inquiry in the system and 6 files of "ADSTEFAN information (including template information for the reply)" that sent from us, total 22 cases (each of the file size: 2Kbytes or less) may have been leaked. We confirm that technical information and business information of the customer are not included in these files.

We already reported this security incident to Personal Information Protection Commission through authorized personal information protection organization(JIPDEC).
